As my readers will know, I’ve been following the William Hill Online story with great interest and I’ve just picked up on the news that several former William Hill Online employees have landed jobs at the virus protection software company, Reimage. On the face of it, not overly remarkable. One might assume they’ve been forced to look away from the iGaming industry.
However, when analysing the FAQs of Reimage’s affiliate program, a certain not-so-well-hidden URL emerges in FAQ number 3… that of Superslots.com, currently producing a 404. If it does happen to disappear anytime soon, hook me up for a screenshot.
So I beg an FAQ of my own.. just what are the ties, if any, between Reimage and the dormant site Superslots.com?
Just what exactly could link Superslots.com to a virus protection software? It would definitely be an interesting tie-up of two seemingly disparate online niches.
According to the independent review site, Reimage.org, the software available through Reimage.com does the following: “Quite simply, Reimage rebuilds the Windows operating system by replacing damaged or corrupt system files or installing system files that somehow have disappeared from your computer.”
I wonder if it does much else?
I am also interested to see what, if anything, happens with the SuperSlots.com domain name. Playtech does offer some of the greatest slot games around so I’m certain we’re likely to see an inevitablly huge spike in traffic through highly targeted marketing and stonking CPA offers for affiliates. Very exciting indeed…
